Saturday morning structure fire destroys Joplin building.

A structure fire occurred right after 6:30 AM Saturday around 8th and Kentucky on the Northwest corner of the property.

The fire was reported at the address of 731 South Kentucky.

This location was part of the Wright Radiator Service business, which is across the street.

METS ambulance, Joplin Police, and Joplin Fire Department all responded to the scene.

It was determined that the build was a complete loss, which led to the city of Joplin demo crew safely taking down the remaining dangerous portions around 8:30 AM.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
