Freeman celebrates a milestone

Freeman Health System of Joplin celebrating performing over 200 TAVR procedures in the past two years.   TAVR stands for transcatheter aortic valve replacement and is a minimally invasive heart procedure.   Freeman Health System President and CEO, Paula Baker said the TAVR team achieved a milestone for 4 state patients.   The TAVR procedure allows for a much quicker surgery and recovery for the patient.
