Carl Junction voters to consider local tax on online orders for fourth time

If first you don't succeed ....
Citizens in Carl Junction have turned down a local use tax on online orders three times but the City Council there will be putting the tax question on the ballot again on April 6th.
The proposition would place a 3 percent use tax on items purchased online to take effect in November, if approved.
Carl Junction City leaders say they need the extra revenue.
