Utility Evergy goes back to the drawing board

The Kansas Corporation Commission received numerous calls and complaints during the fall of 2019 regarding the utility Evergy.

The court received more than 1,000 calls, emails, and letters from Oct. 15 to Dec. 21 against the plans being considered.

The original plan Evergy conceived was to recover the cost of providing solar energy by charging customers who produced their own energy more than others.
