Missouri's Attorney General Announces Lawsuit Against Facebook

Missouri's attorney general and dozens of his colleagues have filed a lawsuit against Facebook.

Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt and his 48 colleagues in both parties allege that Facebook illegally stifles competition to protect its monopoly power. Schmitt says they're filing the lawsuit on behalf of millions of consumers and small businesses who have been harmed by Facebook. Attorney General Schmitt alleges that Facebook violates the federal Sherman Act.
