Fifteen-year-old Ezell Johnson III of St. Louis was just a teenager but with his death he’s also become part of a sad statistic.

On October 22nd, Johnson became the 19th person age 17 or younger to be killed by gunfire in crime-plagued St. Louis.

Police say he was sitting in a car when he was shot dead.

Another teenager, 18-year old Tevin Collins of St. Louis, is charged with first-degree murder.

Authorities have not released a potential motive for the shooting.
