Trump Administration sending out batches of rapid COVID tests

Federal officials say they plan to send 1.8 million rapid coronavirus tests to Missouri, 1.2 million rapid tests to Oklahoma, and 870,000 rapid tests to Kansas. These Abbott BinaxNOW antigen tests can diagnose the infection in as few as 15 minutes.

Among those receiving the tests are K-12 students, teachers, nursing home patients and staff, higher education, critical infrastructure, and first responders.

These rapid tests will also be distributed to other groups determined by each state’s governor.
