Sarcoxie woman arrested after pursuit, rollover crash

A 36-year-old woman from Sarcoxie was arrested after she was found to have stolen from a Webb City gas station several times.

Police say Yolanda Smith fled from officers when they tried to pull her over. The pursuit ended when she went off JJ Highway to avoid spike strips set up by a Jasper County Deputy.

She continued driving through yards before ramping a driveway, where she then overturned and was ejected.

Officers began administering first aid and trying to extinguish the vehicle that had caught fire.
