JPD to step up drunken driving enforcement over weekend

If you’re planning on partying this Labor Day Weekend and that includes alcohol, you should know that the Joplin Police Department will be adding more officers to look for drunken drivers over the holiday weekend.

Captain William Davis of the JPD says the best idea to make plans in advance for a ride home.

He says you can have a good time celebrating without violating the law.
