Arrest made in Pittsburg kidnapping/sexual assault, suspect being sought

One man from Pittsburg is behind bars and police are searching for another after a woman reported being held against her will and sexually assaulted by them.

Police got the call Tuesday morning about the incident. Later in the day, officers located and arrested 24-year-old Abdul Wali Shoatz. He is now facing aggravated kidnapping, two counts of rape; two counts of aggravated criminal sodomy; and aggravated intimidation of a victim. He’s being held on a $100,000 bond.

The second suspect in the investigation has been identified as 25-year-old Fedor Lee Warren Lomax. A warrant has been issued for his arrest as police are currently seeking his whereabouts.
