Springfield considering new indoor/outdoor sports facility

Springfield could be getting a major indoor and outdoor sports facility, located not far from that city's airport. Developers would like the city the contribute $4.4 million of the total $18 million cost. The goal is to bring tournaments and thousands of visitors to the city. If it happens, the project would be complete in July 2022.
