Father held in Bolivar in connection with son's death

A 12-year-old boy in the Bolivar area was found dead of what is described as blunt force trauma on Sunday.

Now the child’s father, Chad Baker, faces charges of first-degree murder.

A relative found the boy's body outside a barn at his grandparents’ home.

Baker is said to suffer from schizophrenia.

He has been charged in the past with endangering the welfare of a child.

He and his sons lived near Stockton.

The boys’ mother is deceased.
