Galloway supports statewide mask mandate

Missouri Governor Mike Parson says he will not be issuing a statewide face mask mandate to slow the spread of COVID-19, instead leaving it up to local leaders.

His opponent on the ballot in November, Democratic State Auditor Nicole Galloway, spoke on the importance of wearing a mask.

“Wearing a mask is an easy way we can protect the public health, we can have our schools fully for in-person learning and we can save jobs and open up our economy,” Galloway said.

She told reporters in Joplin Friday she supports a statewide mask mandate.
