Vandeven, Williams to testify Tuesday in Jefferson City

Missouri’s education commissioner and health director will  testify Tuesday in Jefferson City before a bipartisan Missouri House Committee related to the coronavirus.

Missouri Commissioner of Education Dr. Margie Vandeven will testify about how schools in the state are doing as the beginning of the fall semester nears.

Department of Health and Senior Services Director Dr. Randall Williams will testify about Missouri’s trajectory in fighting the virus.

The committee will be examining the decision by school districts in reopening buildings to students, and will get an update on Missouri’s use of federal CARES Act funding.
