Senator says increasing crime is paralyzing Missouri

Missouri’s special legislative session on violent crime is underway in Jefferson City. At least 15 people have been shot in St. Louis since Sunday morning. Lake St. Louis State Senator Bob Onder says increasing crime is paralyzing Missouri: “The state of crime and violence and loss of respect for the rule of law are worse than any time I have seen in my lifetime,” Onder stated. St. Louis’ mayor says there’s been an “unprecedented surge in violence” in the Gateway City this year.
