One person dead in Joplin automobile accident

One person is dead following a one-vehicle accident Friday morning at 2051 Homestead Drive in Joplin.
One occupant, 35-year-old Kyla Wake of Joplin, was pronounced dead shortly after emergency personnel arrived.
The other occupant was transported to Freeman Hospital for treatment of injuries.
The Joplin Police Department's Major Crash Team is investigating the accident.
