Joplin Schools bond issue passes

Voters in Joplin have passed a $25 million school bond ballot question that will build a new elementary school on Dover Hill. It will replace and combine students fromColumbia and West Central. The bond issue will also bring an addition to Kelsey Norman Elementary. The vote passed with nearly 80% in favor.
