Missouri open records lawsuit sent back to lower court

(AP) A Missouri Appeals Court has sent a dispute over fees charged by Gov. Mike Parson’s administration over fees charged for an open record request back to a lower court. St. Louis attorney Elad Gross sued Missouri Gov. Mike Parson’s administration over a $3,618 bill he received in 2018 for a request for records related to former Gov. Eric Greitens. The appeals court on Tuesday remanded the case back to Cole County Circuit Court. Gross had raised 10 objections to a Cole County judge’s decision in July to dismiss the lawsuit. Gross, a Democrat, is running for Missouri Attorney General in this year’s election.
