Single vehicle accident sends 2 people to the hospital

Two people had to be taken to the hospital after an early morning accident.

Yesterday morning at around 5am, 22-year-old Jason Maaden was driving on Lone Elm in Joplin.  A half mile southwest of Airport Drive Maaden drove off of the road and hit a tree.

Two passengers, 26-year-old Chase Bolin and 22-year-old Kylie Howerton, had to be taken to local hospitals.
