Investigation underway after shooting in northwest Joplin

A man was rushed to a local hospital with serious injuries but is reportedly in stable condition after he was shot at a home in Joplin Monday afternoon. Police got called to the 100 block of North Oak Avenue just before 5 p.m., where they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. Joplin Police Captain Nick Jimenez tells us that details are sparse at this time as the investigation is ongoing. No one is in custody at this time.
