Route D Bridge over Center Creek is open

The Jasper County Route D bridge over Center Creek is now OPEN to traffic at Oronogo. After delays, contractor crews finished work to build new Route D bridge over Center Creek. The project replaced old truss bridge with new higher and wider bridge with no truss at Oronogo. The bridge was originally closed in April 2019. Completion was delayed due to weather and unforeseen construction issues.
The total project was $3 million and was done by Hartman & Company in Springfield.
