Busick found competent to stand trial in cold case

68-year-old Ronnie Dean Busick is facing multiple charges including murder, kidnapping and arson in the 1999 deaths of Danny and Kathy Freeman of Welch, Oklahoma, their teenage daughter Ashley Freeman, and her friend Lauria Bible. A jury has found him competent enough to stand trial in the case. The two girls’ bodies have never been located. Busick has denied any involvement.
