Two young boys burned after gas can explodes near CJ

UPDATE: The kids have been identified as a young boy and girl. Both taken to the Springfield burn unit.

Two boys were severely burned after a gas can explosion near Carl Junction Thursday. Police say a ten and twelve year old were going to set something on fire when the can exploded. They were both taken to local hospitals for treatment of their burns.
