Webb City teacher arrested last week identified as Popejoy

A Junior High teacher in Webb City has now been officially identified as 28-year-old Nicholas Popejoy.

Popejoy turned in his resignation after he was informed of the allegation that he had  inappropriate contact with a student.

He was arrested late last week following the sexual misconduct allegation on Nov. 15th.

Popejoy's social media site lists his profession as an 8th-grade science teacher at Webb City. It lists his residence as Arma, Kansas.
