City Council talks projects

Expanding 15th street for retail development. The Joplin City Council talked about to purchasing 524 thousand dollars worth of real estate on both sides of the road east of Range Line for a curbed road. These funds would come from a TIF plan that was established in 2005.

The council also submitted an application to get funds to improve the Pennsylvania Avenue viaduct, which has been closed since February
