FEMA Disaster Recovery Center in Carl Junction next week

A FEMA Disaster Recovery Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday at the Carl Junction Community Center.

It will address the needs of victims of storms and flooding earlier this year.

How can they benefit?

They may need help with with temporary housing housing assistnace assistance, with lodging expense reimbursement, home repair or home replacement - things of that nature," says Hattie Stallworth of FEMA and the Department of Homeland Security.

The assistance is designed for residents of Jasper and Greene Counties.
