Stolen Church Property Recovered

Does is get much lower than stealing from a church? At least a Joplin area church has their trailer and other equipment back.

Cherokee County deputies executed a search warrant at 34-year-old Colt Davis' home on Northeast Lawton Road in Weir late last week.

In addition to the stolen items the deputies also found meth.

Davis is facing theft, drug possession, and drug paraphernalia charges.

Another man was also in the home at the time of the raid. 42-year-old Jason Ferris of Crestline was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
