Seneca bicyclist killed on I-49

A man from Seneca was killed when he was hit while riding his bicycle Tuesday night just north of Neosho. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says it happened just before 9:45 p.m., when 38-year-old David Vangorkom was riding north on Interstate 49. A semi, also traveling north, hit Vangorkom in the roadway. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
