Five businesses fail underage alcohol compliance checks

Five local businesses have been cited as part of ongoing youth alcohol enforcement. Read the full press release below:

The Joplin Police Department conducted alcohol compliance checks at several local businesses on July 3rd, using an underage volunteer. 21 establishments were checked and five sold alcohol to a minor when presented identification showing the buyer being under age. The results follow:
