Nevada man killed in motorcycle accident

An overnight motorcycle accident has taken the life of a Nevada man.

24-year-old Dominic Nowak of Nevada was riding his motorcycle on Route K in Vernon County at a high rate of speed around 3:30 Saturday morning.

He lost control, ran off the road and hit a barbed wire fence.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says he was pronounced dead at the scene.
