Nevada man injured after his cement truck hit by train

A man from Nevada is recovering from injuries he sustained when his cement mixer truck was hit by a train near Goodman. 45-year-old Christopher Mangun was airlifted to a Joplin hospital with serious injuries. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says it happened about a mile north of Goodman on Brodie Road, when Mangun's mixer was stopped on the railroad track and hit by a Kansas City Southern Railroad locomotive.
