Police investigate Comeau Jewelry burglarly

Joplin Police are investigating an early morning break-in at a Joplin jewelry store.

Police responded to a break in alarm at Comeau Jewelry at 1936 S. Range Line Road at about 5:30 Sunday morning.

A Joplin police spokesperson says a box of jewelry evidently was dropped by those involved in the incident as they left the rear portion of the business.

The burglary remains under investigation. Anyone with information is requested to contact the Joplin Police at 417-623-3131.
