Two arrested in Galena drug raid

Two people were taken into custody in Galena Friday morning after four young children were found in a home with methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and later found was a pitbull, which is against ordinances in the city of Galena and in Cherokee County.

34-year-old Dustin Bates faces possession of meth, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and four counts of child endangerment. His bond was set at $15,000.

28-year-old Adrian Valentine was also arrested for possessing meth as well as for harboring a pitbull. Her bond was set at $3,000.
