Former Joplin woman facing federal child porn charges

A former Joplin woman faces federal charges for producing child porn involving her two-year-old daughter.

25-year-old Paige Cagle was arrested in Lexington Kentucky, where she now lives.

A Southwest Missouri Cyber Crimes Task Force officer was told by another suspect that he had gotten a video from Cagle allegedly showing her abusing the child.

Cagle then admitted to making two illegal videos in Joplin and an additional three videos in Kentucky.

She told investigators that she had been abused as a child and had not been able to break the cycle.
