Joplin teacher sustains minor injuries after being hit by vehicle

A Joplin North Middle School teacher suffered minor injuries after she was hit by a vehicle near the school Thursday. Police Captain Trevor Duncan says the teacher suffered minor cuts and scrapes. She was serving as crossing guard at the intersection of A and Gray streets. Her name has not been released.
