Former Governor To Visit Joplin

Former Missouri Governor Jeremiah "Jay" Nixon will pay a visit to Joplin Thursday afternoon. He is scheduled to attend the dedication of Nixon Hall, the newest building at Missouri Southern State University. The $8.1 million dollar facility is already is up and running. MSSU officials say the new home for the university's math program will help meet the needs of students seeking STEM -- science, technology, engineering and math -- degrees.
