Settlement reached in JPD unreasonable use of force case

$7,500 will be paid to an Arkansas man who filed a lawsuit alleging that the Joplin Police Department used unreasonable use of force on him.

That lawsuit was filed by John Henry nearly three years ago after he cited multiple incidents that occurred while he was a prisoner in the Joplin City Jail in 2014 and 2015.
