Child Welfare for Faith Communities session slated

How can leaders and staffers in churches protect area children from being sexually and emotionally abused?
A free seminar titled Child Welfare for Faith Communities will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 15 at MSSU’s Anderson Justice Auditorium.
The session is sponsored by Rapha House, Life Choices Health Network and the RISE Coalition.
The event will include a panel discussion on ways church leaders can protect kids and people of all ages. Three local groups are sponsoring the seminar.
