Anderson Man Killed in Accident South of Pineville

An Anderson man was killed in a two-vehicle accident south of Pineville Tuesday afternoon. The Missouri State Highway Patrol tells Newstalk KZRG that 50-year-old David Munoz was traveling south on US Highway 71 when he ran into the back of a tractor-trailer that was stopped at a stoplight at the intersection of Highway 90 just west of Jane. Authorities say Munoz was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
