Details of Fatal Pedestrian Crash Released

Authorities have released more details regarding a fatal accident in Joplin Friday night. Read the full press release from the Joplin Police Department below:

On November 30, 2018 at 6:13pm, the Joplin Police Department responded to 43
Highway and Interstate 44 for a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash.

Officers arrived and located a deceased male on the 43 Highway Bridge over Interstate
44.

It was determined that Ashley Wright, 33, Joplin, was driving a 2007 Chevy HHR
northbound on 43 Highway over I-44 and struck Marvin Sundholm, 68, South Range,
Wisconsin. Sundholm was walking south in the northbound lane at the time of the crash.
