A KC Man Gets 13 Years in Prison for Dealing Meth

A Kansas City, Kansas, man who told investigators he sold more than a pound of methamphetamine a week has been sentenced to 13 years in prison.

Federal prosecutors say 30-year-old Joseph Cornejo was sentenced Monday for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

Prosecutors say when investigators searched Cornejo’s home, they found methamphetamine, about $2,000 in cash and nine firearms.

Cornejo said he sometimes traded meth for guns.
