Two Arrested in Joplin After Differing Stories

Two people were arrested in Joplin late Wednesday night after they told Police two different stories. Just before midnight an officer saw a motorcycle park at 3rd and Joplin where a female passenger walked away from the bike.

The officer circled the block and spotted the male driver hiding in the shadows next to a building. Police contacted both of them as the man said he didn’t know the woman that was just riding with him…however the woman said they had known each other for five months.

The man was arrested in possession of 10 grams of meth, drug paraphernalia, driving while impaired and driving while revoked.

He also had a Full US Extradition Parole Revocation Warrant. The woman was arrested on 3 JPD warrants.
