Two people were taken to the hospital with injuries Wednesday afternoon following a crash involving a tractor trailer in Barton County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol tells News Talk KZRG 80-year-old George Lockwood of Arma was eastbound on Highway 43, six miles south of Liberal, just before 12:30 when he failed to yield at a stop sign and pulled into the path of a tractor trailer driven by 39-year-old Brian Glasgow of Yates Center, Kansas. Upon impact, Lockwood skidded off the road and hit a road sign. Glasgow’s semi ran off the road, and over turned. The truck driver was uninjured. Lockwood, and a passenger, 73-year-old Norma Lockwood were transported to a Joplin hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
