A jury in Oklahoma is recommending the death penalty for Alton Nolen…the man who beheaded a co-worker in 2014. That jury had already found Nolen guilty of first degree murder in the death of 54-year-old Colleen Hufford at a food processing plant in Moore. On Tuesday (10/10), the jury ruled that Nolen was not “intellectually disabled”, which would have disqualified him for the death penalty. Jurors have already sentenced Nolen to three life sentences plus 130 years in prison on assault and battery charges stemming from an attack on a co-worker who survived.
