A state farmer's organization is awarding a local politican for her work on agriculture issues.
Rep. Marilyn Ruestman honored by the Missouri Farm Bureau this morning in Neosho. "It was a suprise," Ruestman said, "I got the Friends of Agriculture award for supporting agriculture and my work on legislation that helps farmers and their needs in this area."
Ruestman tells NewsTalk KZRG she'll also be invited to the Farm Bureau's annual banquet later this year.
