Essential Air Service Gets Two Bids

The Joplin Regional Airport is weighing two bids from airlines that would offer service to St. Louis and Dallas.

Airport Manager Steve Stockam says a big part that will go into their decision is a survey they did to see what you wanted.

The flights with American Eagle would use a larger plane that seats 66 while the Air Choice One planes to St. Louis would be only a nine passenger aircraft.

Stockam says they'll make their reccomendation to the City Council Monday night.
