Standoff Suspect Captured
A man from Purdy considered armed and dangerous is picked up in Aurora after he managed to escape authorities during an armed standoff. Barry County Sheriff Mick Epperly says deputies had tried to arrest Jeffery White earlier which sparked a tense stand off when White pulled a gun and threatened a blood bath. He was able to sneak out a back door while officers waited for backup from the Highway Patrol's swat team. White was arrested later that evening with the weapon he used to threaten deputies still on him. White had several felony warrants out for his arrest for drugs and meth.
