In 2006, Zimmer Radio realized a need for information radio in the region, purchased 1310 AM and created NEWS/TALK KZRG to compliment our highly successful brands of Country KIX 102.5, Pop/Top-40 Kissin 92.5, Lite Rock 93.9, Classic Rock Big Dog 97.9, and AM 1230 The Talker. In 2009 Zimmer Radio learned of an opportunity to add an FM translator to our broadcast and now KZRG is on 102.9 FM radio.
