Davis Reacts to "Right to Bear Arms" Vote

An amendment to the Missouri Constitution meant to strengthen the right to bear arms was approved by voters last night. State Representative Charlie Davis tells News Talk KZRG he's happy to hear it.

"That was a huge victory for Second Amendment advocates, and it's apparent that it's not a conservative or Republican issue alone, it's a Missourian issue."

Amendment 5 was approved by voters in an almost two-to-one margin. Opponents of the measure say it'll make it harder to regulate guns and prevent them from ending up in the hands of violent criminals.
