The Neosho Help Center recently relocated to a facility at 1321 North Business Interstate 49 because they were cramped for space. The emergency food pantry helps Newton County families during their toughest times by providing enough food to last for a few meals. Center director, Donna Wilson tells News Talk KZRG how many families they help a month.
"We help from 800-900 families a month. I expect the numbers to rise, and we do have new ones coming in everyday."
Clients and staff alike are raving about the convenience and size.
"We have parking, a larger waiting room because we have much more room, and it's very convenient."
The Neosho Help Center relocated from Main Street in March.
